Morocco: Where Worlds Converge
At the heart of Worlds Converge is a belief that travel can be a powerful catalyst for understanding. When we step beyond our familiar worlds and engage meaningfully with the traditions, stories, and daily lives of others, new perspectives emerge and deeper connections begin to take shape.
This Morocco program has been thoughtfully developed in partnership with local guides, cultural experts, and community members—ensuring an experience that is both authentic and deeply rooted in place.
More than a tour, this is an invitation into Morocco’s rich cultural landscape—through shared meals, music, conversation, and everyday encounters. Through a spirit of curiosity and openness, the journey creates space to connect more deeply—with the people you meet, the places you explore, and perhaps even with yourself. Worlds Converge is collaborating with Project Por Amor for the January 2027 departure to bring this immersive journey through Morocco to life. Other departures are coming soon!

Gnawa Music: Rhythm, Spirit, and Tradition
Gnawa music carries the sound of memory, movement, and spirit. Rooted in the history of West African communities brought to Morocco generations ago, it lives at the intersection of music and ritual, where rhythm becomes a pathway to connection and healing.
Driven by the deep, resonant tones of the guembri and the steady pulse of metal krakebs, the music unfolds gradually, building layer upon layer until it surrounds you. Voices, rhythm, and repetition create an atmosphere that feels both grounding and transcendent, inviting listeners into a shared space that is as much felt as it is heard.
Gnawa is not only a performance. It is a living tradition that carries stories, ancestry, and spiritual expression through sound and movement. To experience it is to step into something intimate and powerful, a moment where past and present meet through rhythm.
During this journey, you will have the opportunity to witness Gnawa music in its natural setting, an experience that offers a deeper connection to Morocco’s cultural and spiritual landscape.
